I have read a lot about the numerous and varied uses for Castor Oil Regardless of your intent, if you are looking to buy some, I can wholeheartedly recommend this product. It is nice and thick, odorless and a clear light gold color. You get a large 16 oz bottle, which is very economical. Personally, I use this oil on my brows. It makes the perfect brow gel, and according to anecdotal evidence on Pinterest and YouTube, it can even help regrow and thicken sparse eyebrows! I have not been using castor oil for this purpose long enough to tell you if it makes a difference; however, if you use a brow gel anyway, why not try one that might help thicken your brows at the same time? Because of its thick consistency, it does not drip, spread or make your face greasy, as you might fear an oil would do. I know some people also apply this to their lashes too to help them grow. I saw another castor oil product that was geared towards people looking to use it for cosmetic purposes, such as I described. You got a tiny tube of it for basically the same price you are paying here for a huge bottle. I cannot even fathom how long 16 oz will last me since I only use a little bit each day. To keep the product fresh, I decanted some into a smaller clean container. This way I can dip a spooly (mascarra wand) in to the oil to apply it to my brows, without contaminating the whole bottle.Update: After applying castor oil nightly to brows, they have grown in thicker! I barely need to use brow pencil anymore. Even the woman who threads my eyebrows commented that my brows had grown in more, and she didn't know I was doing anything different. Two thumbs up in my book! I am hoping with continued use sparse spots will completely disappear.
