I don’t follow the directions, makes my hair too oily from just a little bit. I take several pumps and completely saturate my hair. I let it sit from a few hours to 24 hours. I do this about every two to four weeks. Keeps hair from breaking, dry split ends. Hair stylist always compliments my hair health, with exception for one appointment in two years when I didn’t use this product for a month.First off I LOVE that this product is eco friendly, cruelty free, and REASONABLY PRICED. ! Can I get a HELL YEAH!It’s worked miracles for my hair. I always have frizzy hair because I tend to go to sleep with my hair wet. When I use this (wet or dry) I wake up and the frizz isn’t nearly as bad.When I use it after I shower and don’t go to bed, it’s even better!!I prefer to use it when my hair is almost dry.A little goes a long way! I barely use a small pump and it works for my straight hair. My hair isn’t too thick but it definitely isn’t thin. I’m more than happy with this!!This is my favorite hair product! And I use Monat, and this is still my favorite! It makes your hair silky smooth and helps your fly away hairs without making your hair greasy at all!My hair is really dry and brittle and overprocessed - But since using this product in my hair is now soft and manageable. I tried lots of serums and leave in conditioners that half way work but this product is really amazing. Does everything it says it does. This will definitely be in my hair care routine from now on.this is my favorite hair serum, hands down the scent, the way it makes my hair feel, everything. nothing else compares imo & i would be so sad if they ever stopped making it!!?I can’t tell you how much money I’ve spent on the expensive salon brands and they were too oily, didn’t work right, or didn’t smell good. THIS PRODUCT smells good, adds the right amount of shine, and makes my hair so soft. It is brilliant for scrunching for waves and curls as well as using with a straightener after blow drying. Love it.Please be aware that this product contains silicones- as dimethicone and cyclopentasiloxane. These do not harm hair but do not treat it either. It only provides a cosmetic cover. So if you have dry and damaged hair or curly/ wavy hair this product will weigh your hair down and make it difficult for nutritive products from reaching your hair.So avoid if you follow CG method of hair care.I like this serum but a little goes a long way, don’t use too much or your hair will look greasy.I love Giovanni hair products and this is an excellent serum that works as well, if not better, than others that are full of unwanted chemicals.
