Very very impressed with the quality of Donginbi products. I could say many things about this product but I will only mention the most notable: My husband suffered from excessive sebum production that is fully resolved. His skin is smoother and visibly clearer and more uniform. I am very happy and grateful to meet Donginbi.GoodI got this for my husband, who initially expressed interest in upping his skincare game but, unfortunately, he wanted no part of it once it arrived. Red Ginseng is really hot in K-Beauty right now and it's not something I've tried before. Misscha, I'm From and Beauty of Joseon have all introduced products with this anti-oxidant rich ingredient, so I decided to try it myself.This is called an "All-In-One" Fluid and, perusing the long list of ingredients, I'd say that's a fair description. It would be ideal for a man who isn't interested in doing a multi-step skincare routine (and how many men do?) because it provides all the benefits of an essence, serum and hydrating moisturizer. Seriously, this stuff is jam-packed - in addition to Ginseng Root there's Glycerin, Niacinamide, Centella Asiatica, Ceramides, Cholesterol, Squalane, Panthenol and Beta Glucan. It's a lightweight milky serum that absorbs quickly without leaving behind any sticky residue or shiny appearance. Even though it's thin, it gives my skin a pleasantly smooth and plump feeling which I chalk up to the inclusion of several silicones (including my personal nemesis, Dimethicone). These are often used in foundation primers to temporarily smooth the skin's texture.While I customarily try to avoid Dimethicone, I applied this both day and evening for a couple of weeks in place of my normal essence/moisturizer regimen. I found it to be reasonably effective at keeping my skin hydrated and giving it a plump dewy appearance. Although I can't say I detected any unique benefits that can be attributed to the Red Ginseng. This is a decent one-stop-shop for a man looking for a no fuss way to improve the tone and texture of his skin.One final note - this contains alcohol, artificial fragrance (aka parfum) and several essential oil compounds. It has a potent masculine cologne-like scent. Since many men apply some sort of scented and alcohol-based after shave on their face, I'm not sure that should be an issue. But just so you know.This is such a lovely set of skin care products for men. I find it presented very nicely, and in a manner that is commiserate with extremely high end products. It comes with a cleanser, a toner, and the serum. I have had the good fortune of trying several different types of these kinds of products from many skin care companies, but most of them are catered to the women's market. It's nice to see a set that is made for men. As a man in my early 40s, I really appreciated how this skin care system catered more to my specific needs. The cleanser works really well, and unlike so many other cleansers that I have tried, it lathers up so nicely, and does a great job of leaving the skin feeling absolutely clean without stripping away moisture or causing irritation. The toner has a nice liquidy consistency to it, and leaves a bit of a tacky residue in my experience. It saturates very well, and the tackiness doesn't stick around long, but is not a bad thing as a preparation stage for the serum to be placed over top. Finally the serum is really lovely, and one of the most moisturizing serums that I've ever tried. I have trouble spots where I get dry skin around my chin area, and this serum in combination with the system that the product provides, worked really well at hydrating my skin so that I could avoid having those flaking issues and dry spots. I would still finish with a moisturizer overtop personally, but I did have the experience of not doing that once or twice, and still didn't experience any dryness issues. All in all, it's a really great set, and though I prefer my skin care products to be unscented, I have to say that the nice masculine scent that this skin care system provides, is extremely pleasant and almost worth reconsidering my preference for unscented products. I prefer unscented products, because I don't want to deal with any irritation that may occur from whatever ingredients give the product it's scent. That being said, I experienced no irritation from it at all. It's a great set, and would present extremely well as a lovely gift, and I do recommend it.
